WHAT TO EXPECT
Each person's case is different and the treatment needs vary with each individual. Most often, six to eight visits are necessary to retrain the body and put it in balance.
For acute cases, it is recommended to have two or three visits per week.
The needles used in acupuncture are extremely thin. Upon insertion, some people may feel a pricking sensation, a pinch, sometimes a jolt, and sometimes nothing at all. Once the needles are in place, there is a period of deep relaxation and complete de-stressing. The needles are retained for twenty to thirty minutes.
